This 6 week workshop is aimed at intensive character development and explores our characters deepest and most private thoughts and feelings. Knowing the answers to these 6 Big Questions will provide for rich characters that will keep readers turning pages, empathizing and rooting for them throughout the novel.
Students should have a WIP ongoing. - preferably in 2nd draft as we explore these questions through creative writing exercises and share our work with the class in open discussion.
Workshop fee is $150 per student

Classes begin on January 28th, 2025 and end on April 8th
7:30 - 9:30 PM on Zoom
In this six bi-weekly class workshop we will explore and work on different aspects of writing concerning dialogue, POV, Plotting, world building, descriptive writing and more to further improving the storytelling and the reader's enjoyment.
Students will practice these elements in class and in homework assignments

As you contemplate the writing of your novel, there are many things to consider, and in this workshop the student will begin to answer the plotted course of their story from beginning to end. We will also look at character development, pacing, plot questions, and structure of the proposed novel.
Students will present their ideas and write preliminary creative writing sketches of their proposed novel to be discussed and brainstormed in class
.

In this 4 hour workshop we will look at how prominent Romance authors create intimate scenes in their novels and how to get the most out of ours.
This workshop will explore what each gender looks at, feels, wonders, and thinks leading up to the intimate scene. What things are most important to them, and how they think of them. What things work, and what things don't. Sex is between the ears as they say.
